Love this place! The food is so good!

I love their fried pork! Its amazing nothing anywhere like it and you need the limes! Very quick and affordable when eating dominican style food.

I’m not always in Lawrence, I live about 35 minutes away. The food here is AMAZING I LOVE it! Every time I come I always eat here.

The food was dry other than that it would have been a 3@1/2 or 4. And rice needed a little love a little special broth

This food here is amazing you get to choose. I love rice with beans and bacalao with yellow plantain potato salad. Here is a picture of what i order.❤💯

They will serve you plenty of food and the prices are reasonable.

Great place for Spanish good.

I've been coming here since it opened. But as of last week, it will be my last. The food was not the quality that El Pollo Tipico had when it got its reputation. I think this was maybe the third time, that we stopped eating the food and got subs with fries. This will be the last time I spend $40+ at your establishment and will not recommend. I hope management takes this statement seriously because from what I've been told many people are starting to take notice and will take their business to another restaurant. Please bring back El Tipico back to its great name.

Pollo Típico is as it's name translates to "typical chicken." The chicken was cooked Carribean style - crunchy outside and soft and tender meat. The chicken was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The prices are inexpensive and the service is very good. Highly recommended.

Food is good,not as good as the other Tipico accross the street. Staff is not so friendly and the service is not the best. The space is really not big specially the tables are a little uncomfortable but give it a try. you might like it. We will come back if we have a chance

You're not from the 978 if you haven't eaten here. This is the place that EVERYONE knows about. This is one of the most reliable and consistent food spots in Lawrence, always great, always cheap.

Finest spot to eat food when in a hurry. The service is prompt, rates are fair, great vibes. I highly recommend this place

Very yummy, authentic food in an easily accessible area of Lawrence. The outside signage has been updated and is welcoming. The inside is tight but manageable. The only downsides were: 1) it took forever for us to get our check (over 35 minutes from the point of placing our dishes at the table edge to signify that were were good to go) and 2) if you want to order to go, there is literally zero signs to tell you what the food options are in front of you.Definitely worth a stop by and be sure to get the pork belly and ripe plantains! Out of this world.

Lines are long most days, staff speak little English. Food is hot or miss. Price is good for food portions.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!The customer service was horrible!!! I called back to tell them the chicken was rubbery from a delivered order. Instead of trying to resolve my issue she basically told me she had just at it and that it was fine! I order from here often as their food is delicious and no problems but more often than not THE SERVICE IS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL!!!!!!! They need to be professional and not treat people with disrespect and instead of looking for excuses resolve the issue. I don’t write reviews but since she did not want to put anyone else on the phone to help me as I asked than I have no choice but to write a review as to HOW EXTREMELY RUDE THEIR WORKER IS! I asked her name and before slamming the phone on me she answered Judy!

Authentic Caribbean Cuisine with all the ambience. Music language you mame it's there. Go with a local or if your Spanish is good. The food is spectacular and affordable. Large portions as well. Try the roasted chicken, what they are known for.

I travel 1 hour and 30 minutes to this place and I have been doing that for years and will continue to do it. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the food is great. The prices are very cheap for what they give you.
